What parents see

When a parent clicks the link you sent them:

  1. They are asked for the 6-digit PIN. After 5 wrong attempts the link is locked for 30 minutes.
  2. Once the PIN is accepted, the paperwork opens:
    • Form share — the parent fills in the form and submits.
    • Document share — the parent views and signs the PDF.
    • Packet share — the parent moves through each step in order.

On a packet share, a progress bar at the top shows every step:

  • Solid filled circle — completed.
  • Outlined circle — the step the parent is on right now.
  • Faint circle — upcoming step.
  • Dashed circle — a step that may or may not appear, depending on the parent’s answers (conditional).
  • Greyed-out dashed circle — a step that has been skipped because a condition took the other branch.

The parent never sees your branching logic — just the next thing they need to do.
